While studying computer graphics at
NYU, Gigie was surprised and a little
amused by what she saw in SoHo
boutique shops. So many of the
shapes and stones in the jewelry she
saw reminded her of the gardens she
visited during her childhood.

Without taking any jewelry classes,
Gigie started designing her own
jewelry. She loves experimenting
with different stones, metals, vintage
findings, as well as silk. She is always
on the lookout for new materials and
ways to use them. Gigie's greatest
satisfaction comes when people react
with delight when they first lay eyes
on what she has created.
